This bathroom in Park Ridge IL underwent a radical transformation. In the gallery above, you can see the beginning state of the bathroom. The initial condition of the bathroom including small floor tile where dirt fell into the grout, and standard sink, white laminate countertop, white cabinets, and basic shower/bathtub combo. There was also some wallpaper on the bathroom walls.
Our Bathroom contractors set out to make this bathroom more elegant, and a nice place to spend time. We started by replacing the old square shower tile with new countoured wall tile. New shower heads, faucets, and fixtures helped make the shower look new. This shower tile also extended further out than the previous tile. We removed the old wall paper to reveal white painted walls.
The old small tile flooring was replaced with laminate flooring that resembles stone. The old flooring had numerous grooves which made it difficult to keep tidy. The new flooring is level throughout, and also looks more modern.
The next step with this Park Ridge bathroom was to replace the bathroom cabinets with new stained wood cabinets. The countertop went from a plain off-white laminate to a quartz countertop, and the sink and faucet were replaced.
Additionally, we added a new mirror and brand new lighting fixtures above the sink.
