Bathroom Renovation Project in Roselle IL

The customer for this bathroom remodeling in Roselle wanted to transform a dull, beige, old fashioned bathroom into something sleek, modern and futuristic. Sunny Construction & Remodeling was more than happy to step up to the challenge.

First of all, the boring beige tiles throughout the bathroom had to go, as well as the antique-style sink and plain wood-framed mirror. Pulling off the old tiles and preparing the walls for the new tiles took some effort. We also had to pull the old, outdated tiles off the floor too. Doing the proper prep work is always an important step towards a successfully completed bathroom remodel.

If you will notice, every corner and element in this futuristic bathroom is sharp and clean, from the tiles to the fixtures. The black and white geometric shapes are definitely a welcome change from the frumpy beige antique look it had before.
Every wall in this modern bathroom is covered with clean, shiny white octagon tiles, while the shower sports matte black octagon tiles. The matte tiles in the shower are more slip-proof, adding an element of safety. We also added black corner shelves in this sleek custom shower. Did you notice the unique, square black rain shower head? Even the handle for the hot and cold water in the shower has a sharp square angle.

Besides the gorgeous octagon tiles, the most unique feature of this bathroom remodels is the fixtures which are all matte, black and very angular. For example, the sink is a pure white rectangle square, accented with a tall, matte black faucet. Even the sink drain is matte black. Matt black wall hooks and towel racks complete the look. However, the cabinets are a putty brown; this shade keeps the modern and futuristic tone, while adding a touch of warmth. Likewise, the over the sink mirror is simple and round.

Furthermore, the tiles not only look clean, but they are also clean; ceramic tiles are both easy to clean and hygienic. With just a little bit of care, ceramic tiles can last a lifetime.

While you can’t see it, this cool, sleek bathroom also has a heated floor. We didn’t leave out a single detail.
