Bathroom Remodeling in Northbrook IL

This bathroom in Northbrook IL was remodeled from end to end. You can see the before and after photos to see the vast contrast between the beginning state and final remodel. The original shower enclosure was scrapped and replaced with a shower floor and shower walls that are small, fancy tiles. A recess was built into the shower for placing soap and shower amenities. We also replaced the original shower head with a custom fixture, that makes the shower look more elegant. What a difference this shower remodeling made to this bathroom!

Additionally, the basic wood grain cabinets and plain white sink and countertop were replaced with white bathroom cabinets, new sink, and countertops. Keeping with the modern elegant theme, the new bathroom countertop was granite. The old walls had flowery wallpaper. We removed the wallpaper, and painted the walls white.

Previously, the doors to the inner bathroom were solid wood. These were swapped out with French doors with white trim and framing. The bathroom closet, which before was a swinging door, was changed to sliding mirrored doors.

Lastly, the flooring was completely new. The old flooring was a basic white textured flooring. The new flooring is wood laminate, which together with the new white minimalism, and granite countertops, and glass doors, make the new inner bathroom look like a brand new room. The bathroom remodel we completed for this Northbrook IL homeowner is like night and day compared to the previous bathroom.
