Details of This Bathroom Remodel
Our remodeling team completed this remodel in late 2021. Here are some of the changes we made:
- Replaced old tub with freestanding tub. The original generic tub was replaced with an elegant freestanding tub, and a new shower enclosure was also installed. The old standard tub had an awkward step, with grouted tile. The new standalone tub looks better, and is easier to keep clean.
- New shower installation. The bathroom got a new shower, with a clear glass enclosure, and a decorative faux granite bench, allowing bathers to sit down. The shower base and walls are a tasteful granite-like appearance, replacing the plain square grouted tile that was in place beforehand.
- New wood laminate flooring. Originally, the old bathroom had vinyl tile. This was upgraded to an upscale wood laminate tile that helps make the bathroom look completely new.
- Quartzite countertops and new cabinets. One upgraded feature in this renovated bathroom is an extended two-sink countertop, made from natural stone quartzite. These are supported by new white cabinets. A full length mirror also allows two people to get ready in the morning.
- Repainted walls. To match the new aesthetic of the other bathroom fixtures, the old wallpaper was replaced with a light slate gray paint. The overall effect is a more modern, elegant-looking bathroom, that relaxes whoever is using the facilities.
