This bathroom remodel in Inverness, near Palatine, is another example of how we can make remodeling improvements on your home. Take a look at the renovations we made on this bathroom in the greater Chicago area.
- Brand new shower enclosure. The old shower had a base with small white square tiles, with grout in between, which was very difficult to clean. We installed a new shower enclosure with a built in toiletry cubby, and a new base. Easier to clean, it looks better, and fits in with the new design of the bathroom which relies heavily on black and white motifs.
- New flooring. The old flooring was also white tile, in large square sections with some gaps in between. In the new bathroom design, we added slate black speckled tiles, with the tile squares fitting more closely together.
- Updated replacement cabinets and sinks. The old cabinets supporting the sink was fairly standard. For the remodel, we added a textured dark wood cabinet with extra drawers, and customized cabinet handles. This was a big visual and organizational improvement over the previous cabinet. Also, the old sink was a standard sink with counter space. We replaced that with a fancier double sink. Each of these sinks has custom black brushed steel fixtures, which looks much more elegant than the standard sink fixtures that the old bathroom featured.
- New paint and baseboards. Last but not least, we changed the paint in this bathroom from a standard beige to a striking gray with white baseboards. We did this to match the shower and accentuate the entire bathroom in shades of white, gray, and black. The end effect is an upscale look that makes the improved bathroom look much more elegant and upgraded.

Main bathroom renovation – This was the first remodeling project we had ever done and we were terrified by all that could go wrong. We had multiple proposals provided for a bathroom remodel and building of a new bathroom in what is currently a walking closet.
