Here is a recent bathroom renovation we completed near Oak Brook in 2022.
- New freestanding tub. Originally, the tub in the primary bathroom was a regular rectangular alcove bathtub. This was replaced with a beautiful freestanding tub, with a new faucet, and a handrail bar installed on the wall by the tub, so getting in and out is easier.
- Complete shower renovation, improved accessibility. If you see the before and after photos above, you can see the old shower left a lot to be desired. Since there was no shower seat in the original install, a plastic chair was being used to sit down and shower. There was also a lack of convenient toiletry storage, as a vertical storage caddy was being used. In the new shower, we installed a brand new enclosure and base, with a faux stone pattern, which improved the aesthetics of the bathroom. Most importantly, there is a full bench in the new shower to make mobility and accessibility much easier. There is a handrail and toiletry storage cubby installed in reach of the shower bench, to make showering easier. This walk-in shower features a glass door, instead of a sliding door. Lastly, a hand held shower head makes showering more convenient for all members of the family.
- Brand new sink and faucets. The legacy sink was replaced with a new sink, new faucet, and brand new vanity.
- Upgraded flooring. The new laminate flooring has a faux marble pattern which complements the shower pattern beautifully.
- New paint. Previously, the walls were painted a beige color. Our remodeling team switched this to a cool state gray, which fits the coloring of the shower and flooring, creating an overall cohesion in the design of the bathroom.
