Schaumburg Bathroom Remodeling Contractor
The old version of this bathroom had generic white paneling around the tub, and a plain wood vanity and white sink countertop. For this remodel, we needed to make some simple changes to upgrade this bathroom and make it look beautiful.
Here are some changes we made:
- New tub enclosure. In the new bathroom, the old plain white paneling was replaced with an alabaster tiled enclosure. This has a ribbon of colored backsplash tile around eye-level, that is charcoal, gray, and dark blue.
- Upgraded flooring. The old old bathroom had vinyl flooring, with a diagonal blue square pattern. The upgraded flooring is laminate charcoal gray tile, in large rectangular patterns.
- Replacement vanity and sink fixtures. Previously, the old vanity was the generic wood found in many homes. We replaced this with an elegant white vanity with ample storage space.
- New bathroom mirror. the old medicine cabinet style mirror was replaced with a recessed box mirror with inset lighting.
- Painted walls. The old bathroom had plain white paint; while the new bathroom has a medium-dark gray paint job. This accentuates the other colors in the palette of the new bathroom.
