Streamwood Bathroom Renovations
The color palette to this bathroom remodel was dark brown, light and dark gray, greenish gray, and an off-white. Here’s a list of improvements we made for this homeowner.
- Tub-to-shower conversion. The old tub had square tiles for the backsplash. We replaced the tub with a rectangular shower area with sliding glass doors. The shower enclosure is a off white with a recessed caddy area for toiletries. This shower caddy area is decorated with a custom backsplash of greenish-gray tiles.
- New vanity, sink, and countertops. The old white vanity was swapped out with a dark-stained vanity with pull-out drawers. The single wide sink was replaced with dual sinks with brushed steel faucets and fixtures.
- Replacement flooring. Their new flooring is tiles with a white background , and cocentric diamonds in dark brown and light gray. This pattern matches the dark brown of the vanity, the same off white in the shower, and the light gray of accent tiles in the shower.
- New paint. The old bathroom had a light matcha green color on the walls. We replaced this with a pale beige, to accentuate the darker colors and whites in the room’s new color palette.
